Installation of Products

At Carbon Street, we strongly recommend professional installation for all of our products to ensure the best possible outcome. Customers should be aware that installation may require modifications such as trimming, cutting, sanding, prepping, or even fiberglass or carbon work for proper fitment. We do not guarantee OEM fitment for any products unless explicitly stated.

All fiberglass and carbon fiber components may require prep work including trimming, sanding, or cutting, as well as painting to match your vehicle’s aesthetics. Depending on your specific vehicle, some parts may need to be removed or adjusted for installation (e.g., crash bars may need to be removed for front and rear bumpers, fender liners may require trimming, and custom brackets may be necessary).

Please note that each vehicle and product is unique, and factors such as vehicle age, previous repairs, structural deviations, environmental damage, and rust may affect the installation process. Adjustments to both Carbon Street products and your vehicle may be necessary to achieve the desired fit.

It’s also important to understand that carbon and fiberglass products may experience slight shape changes due to packaging and shipping. In such cases, the product may need to sit in sunlight or be exposed to heat to return to its intended shape.

Product Quality and Fitment

Our products are handcrafted, and no two items will be identical. Variations and minor imperfections are part of the manufacturing process and should be expected. Products from Carbon Street will not have OEM fitment, and this is not considered a defect.

If you encounter any issues with our products that may affect fitment or functionality, please notify Carbon Street immediately before any work or modification is performed. All concerns must be documented with photographs and/or video and submitted to us for review. Products must be returned in their original, unmodified condition for any claims to be valid. Modifications made to the product will void any warranty or eligibility for returns.

If extensive work is required to make a product fit during installation, or if any significant issues arise, Carbon Street must be contacted before proceeding further. We reserve the right to investigate each situation on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the uniqueness of every vehicle make and model. Investigations typically take 5-7 business days, though more complex situations may require additional time.

Defective Products and Warranty

Carbon Street does not consider a product defective unless it has been verified by a qualified automotive body shop or installer. As mentioned, imperfections or minor fitment issues due to the handcrafted nature of our products are not considered defects.

If a product is found to have a significant defect or manufacturing flaw, you must report the issue immediately and provide photographic and video evidence for review. Returns or replacements will only be processed if the product is in its original, unmodified state. If modifications have been made, Carbon Street will not provide a refund, as we are unable to assess the original condition of the product.

In the event of mold-related issues or significant defects, Carbon Street reserves the right to offer a repair, an equivalent replacement, or a full refund. Standard ETAs apply for these resolutions.
